Honorarium Position

Are you passionate about community impact and youth advocacy? As Co-Chair of the Bags of Promise Committee, you’ll be leading meaningful change at Queen’s University alongside a dedicated team of student leaders. This role empowers you to address youth homelessness by providing dignity through action, replacing trash bags with thoughtfully prepared Bags of Promise. Join us in creating a tangible difference both on campus and across Canada.

Expected Time Commitment and Remuneration

12-month term from May 1st, 2025 to April 30th, 2026 with a time commitment of 5 hours/week

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize and facilitate weekly committee meetings to ensure smooth planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with your Co-Chair and committee to design and implement impactful events and initiatives.
  • Recruit, onboard, and support committee members and volunteers while maintaining strong internal communication.
  • Liaise with Community Outreach leadership to coordinate resources and support Commission-wide efforts.
