Industry Skills Coordinator

The Industry Relations Coordinator will be responsible for establishing and maintaining connections between students and various industries. This role is designed to help students build professional networks, participate in recruitment efforts, and explore diverse career paths both during and after their undergraduate studies. The Coordinator will work closely with the ASUS Professional Development Director and ASUS President to develop the role and align it with the organization’s goals.

    Applications will close on October 2nd at 4PM.

    Time Commitment

    8 month-term from October 2024 to April 30th, 2025 with a time commitment of 2-4 hours/week.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with industry professionals to create networking and recruitment opportunities for students.
    • Work alongside the Professional Development Director to organize events, workshops, and seminars that introduce students to different career paths.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with external industry partners to ensure continuous engagement and opportunities for student growth.
