Honorarium Position
The Social Media Director at ASUS plays a pivotal role in leading the social media strategy and execution for the organization. Working closely with the Commissioner of Marketing and Communications, the Social Media Director oversees all social media platforms to enhance ASUS's online presence and engagement.

Time Commitment and Remuneration

  • 12-month term from May 1st, 2024 to April 30th, 2025 with a time commitment of 6-8 hours/week.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with ASUS's marketing objectives.
  • Monitor trends, analyze data, and identify opportunities to optimize social media performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all platforms.
  • Create engaging and relevant content for ASUS's social media channels, including posts, stories, and multimedia assets.
  • Maintain a content calendar and schedule posts to ensure consistent and timely communication with the audience.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the Marketing and Communications Officer and the team regularly.
  • Proactively suggest and implement ideas to enhance the overall social media presence and effectiveness of ASUS.
