Technical Skills Coordinator

The Technical Skills Coordinator will work with the Professional Development Director to offer students opportunities to develop essential professional and technical skills relevant to their future careers. This role will focus on organizing workshops, seminars, and events that provide practical, hands-on learning experiences to equip students with tools for success in the workforce. The Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring that students have access to valuable resources to enhance their technical abilities and career readiness.

    Applications will close on October 2nd at 4PM.

    Time Commitment

    8 month-term from October 2024 to April 30th, 2025 with a time commitment of 2-4 hours/week.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Professional Development Director to design and implement skill-building workshops and training sessions focused on in-demand technical skills.
    • Identify and connect with industry professionals to provide students with expert-led seminars and practical demonstrations.
    • Organize and manage events during Professional Development Day that offer students insights and hands-on experiences related to current industry tools, technologies, and practices.
