VOLUNTEER POSITION(S)

The Jackets First-Year Representatives will be tasked with connecting First-Year students of their respective faculties with the tradition of Jackets. There will be up to 2 First-Year Representatives.

Positions Available:

• 1 for Arts and Science
• 1 for the ASUS sister societies (computing, kinesiology, concurrent education, and health sciences)

Time Commitment and Responsibilities:

An approximately 8-month term from September 2024 to April 2025 with a time commitment of 4-5 hours per week.

• The First-Year Representatives will help out at fittings and with distribution as well as highlighting social media posts and being a spokesperson for Jackets among their respective faculties.
• This may include but is not limited to planning a First-Year Jackets event, brainstorming and carrying out a raffle, or developing other methods of engagement.
• The First-Year Representatives will also have the opportunity to be mentored by the Jackets Co-Directors.
